On Saturday, August 10, 2024, we took part in the 26th Summer Film Festival 4 elements in the nearby Banská Štiavnica, this time with the theme of the road.

In the framework of the accompanying events, the organizers also prepared a discussion „Way out – the departure of a woman from a violent relationship“.

The discussion on the topic of violence against women and the preparation of the departure strategy from the violent partner for 4 elements was prepared by Živena, the oldest female association in Slovakia in cooperation with the National Line for Women Experiencing Violence.

Three renowned experts – Mgr. Barbora Burajova, PhD., Mgr. Zuzana Očenášová, PhD. and Mgr. Anna Surovcová – talked that it is not „just“ about packing up things and banging the door and that staying a woman in a relationship can look incomprehensible from the outside, but in fact everything can be different… about what can do for a woman experiencing violence violence Its surroundings and what services the state and the non -profit sector provide for victims of violence, to make the way out of the relationship safer, simpler and supporting, we discussed the Renaissance premises of the Joerge House on Námestie sv.
